Čačak (Old Man's Čačak)

History

This is a Sebian dance that I learned in the USA.

Rhythm

The music is in a fast 4/4 rhythm, with a step or lift on every beat.

Steps

The dance is done in short lines in a basketweave hold.

Bending slightly forward take a step to the side with the right foot, then cross in front with the left. Do this four times.

Standing up straight step to the side with the right foot and lift the left across in front. Do this three times, to the right, left, and right
Step to the side with the left foot and cross behind with the right.
Do the step-lift sequence twice, to the left and the right.
Step to the side with the left foot and cross behind with the right.
Do the step-lift sequence once to the left.
